The SCONDAR SCT1016T is a precision crimp terminal designed for 1.0mm pitch secure lock type wire-to-board connectors. It is mechanically and electrically compatible with the JST NSH series terminal (SSHL-003T-P0.2) , enabling direct use in existing NSH-compatible housings and headers while providing an independent, non-infringing second-source solution.

Low Insertion Force, Proven Contact Concept

The SCT1016T adopts a contact geometry and spring design that delivers low insertion force, allowing smoother mating operations and reducing assembly effort – especially valuable in high-volume production. The fundamental contact principle is equivalent to the performance-proven SHL-type connector platform, ensuring stable low contact resistance and reliable signal transmission.

• Insulation Outer Diameter (OD): 0.75mm max.

Compatibility Note

The SCT1016T is a functional equivalent to the JST SSHL-003T-P0.2 terminal. When used with the SCONDAR SCT1016H housing (compatible with NSHR-xxV-S series) or original NSH housings, it maintains proper retention, insertion force, and electrical performance. Users seeking supply chain diversification or cost efficiency can adopt the SCT1016T as a drop-in replacement.

No IP Infringement

SCONDAR has developed the SCT1016T through independent tooling and engineering. While achieving equivalent electrical and mechanical performance to the SHL/NSH terminal platform, the SCT1016T does not copy any protected design or patented contact structure. It is offered as a lawful alternative for customers requiring second-source terminals.

Recommendation

For best results, SCONDAR recommends using the SCT1016T with the SCONDAR SCT1016H housing and matching PCB headers. Pre-production validation of crimp height, pull-out force, and contact resistance is advised.
